Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Modevfy collects through modevfy.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. Modevfy is a web design and development business based in Utah, USA.

Information you provide

  • Contact forms: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message.
  • Quote form: your name, email, phone, website address, project dates, and the project details you choose to share.
  • Scheduling: when you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email, and any answers you give. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to that information.

Information collected automatically

  • Google Analytics 4: uses cookies to measure visits, including pages viewed, time on site, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location (city or region). It does not give Modevfy your name or email.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
  • Hosting and security logs: the site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block attacks.
  • Font licence counter: a MyFonts (Monotype) counter records an anonymous page view, as required by a font licence.
  • Your settings: theme and motion preferences are saved in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to Modevfy.

How information is used

  • To reply to messages, prepare quotes, schedule calls, and provide services.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Modevfy does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Modevfy or others.

Cookies and your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • The site does not currently respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Blocking cookies or using the opt-out add-on stops Google Analytics from measuring your visits.

How long information is kept

Messages and project details are kept for as long as needed to respond, provide services, and keep business records. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting on Modevfy's Analytics account. You can ask for your information to be deleted at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information Modevfy holds about you, or ask that it no longer be used. Depending on where you live (for example California, Utah, or the European Union), you may have additional rights under local law. Modevfy will respond to these requests for everyone, wherever you live. Send a request through the contact page.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and reasonable measures are used to protect information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and Modevfy does not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted information, use the contact page and it will be deleted.

Visitors outside the United States

Modevfy is based in the United States, and information is processed there and wherever its service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
